New Smyrna Beach, Fla. – Shok Idea Group Inc., a full service creative, marketing and web development agency, is excited to announce multiple new hires and promotions in our interactive and creative services departments. Timothy Hunt has joined as the interactive project manager, Erik Cloutier has joined as a front end developer, and Evan Bayer now serves as a production artist. In addition, Morgan Burton has been promoted to director of content marketing and Jalin Burton has been promoted to senior interactive director.
Timothy Hunt joins us from the aviation industry, with over 9 years of operational scheduling and management experience with JetBlue. He serves as the liaison for client interaction on all web and interactive projects, and schedules tasks and projects to ensure our web team is organized and meeting deadlines. His true passion is for web development, and is currently studying information technology at Daytona State College with a focus in front and back-end development.
Erik Cloutier’s extensive background in print serves to further Shok’s award-winning website designs. Using the experience he’s gained from his background as a graphic artist managing a print shop, he’s now responsible for web design, development and maintenance. Erik’s great eye for detail and passion for website development keeps him constantly polishing his skills and staying up to date with the latest technological advances.
Evan Bayer, a rising star, began working with Shok Idea Group as a creative intern when he was a student at the Ringling College of Art and Design. After falling in love with the company’s mission and culture, he returned for a second internship the following summer. He has since been hired full-time as a production artist on the creative team. His eagerness to continue to learn and willingness to accept new challenges allows him to grow his graphic design skills and apply his artistic talents to the advertising world.
Morgan Burton, who previously served as the interactive project manager, and will now focus on creating thoughtfully crafted messages and content marketing plans based on strategy, research and the latest industry trends. She collaborates, curates and delivers content across traditional and digital channels, including social media, email and web. She has more than 9 years of experience as a marketing professional, with design and copywriting skills to compliment her business degree from Stetson University. She has also served more than 8 years on the Board of Directors for the American Advertising Federation of Daytona Beach, and will be joining the AAF 4th District this summer as a Chairperson.
Jalin Burton previously served as lead programmer and originally started as a front-end developer at Shok, and is now the senior interactive director. He contributes experience as a software engineer, web developer, system administrator and all-around digital problem solver. He built his first website when he was just 14 years old. Now, in the always-connected world, he uses his passion, eye for design, and computer science background to develop and oversee projects for mobile apps, web applications, and pixel perfect websites that are search engine friendly and beautifully functional.
The addition of Shok’s new team members will allow the agency to continue to service a growing volume of creative, marketing and website projects for their clients, and also continue to provide award-winning advertising and creative work from our boutique agency in New Smyrna Beach, FL
